What a shocker it is to learn people didn’t like the Roland TR-909 when it first came out! After dance musicians discovered this brutal machine, it’s popularity really took flight. The bass drum created by this machine really is exemplary for the 90’s electronic dance music. Techno, Acid House, House.. you name it, the 909 made it’s appearance in some way or form.

Eventhough the Roland TR-909 is more than 35 years old, the sound is still relevant to this date.
